Recrop gives you a second chance to reframe your photos for a compositionally balanced look.

Here are the main features of the app:

• Unique uncropping function
• Aspect ratios and grids to help you reframe photos
• Straightening without losing the resolution of a photo

ACHIEVING AN ACCURATE COMPOSITION

• Recomposing a photo by moving its frame

Recrop allows reframing images even after they have already been taken.
Move a photo frame or drag its handles toward the inside or outside a photo to recompose the shot. The clever app will automatically fill in the expanded areas based on the content surrounding it.

• Reframing a photo by using aspect ratios

With the list of the most common aspect ratios the app has to offer, you can obtain a photo of the needed proportions fast and with no effort. As soon as a specific ratio is selected, tap the Apply button — and the app will crop or uncrop your shot to those specific dimensions.

• Reframing a photo by using grids

Recrop provides you with a set of the classical composition grids to help you be accurate when recomposing your images. After selecting a grid, just move a photo frame as needed to balance the photo.

STRAIGHTENING PHOTOS

Straighten a crooked horizon line in a photo by swiping left or right or up or down anywhere outside the photo frame. The resolution of the photo wont be lost — the nearby pixels will be copied and added to the areas created.

PRAISES ABOUT RECROP

“Recrop does one thing insanely well and is the only smartphone app dedicated to this task: like content-aware fill for Photoshop, it can extend elements of an image to give more of what you missed, allowing you to crop, rotate, and even enlarge without sacrificing parts of the original image.” — Dan Rubin, Photographer, Designer

Pros and cons of Recrop app for iPhone and iPad

Recrop app good for

Its terrific for what it does - you have to choose an appropriate picture. If you are expecting a miracle, youre in the wrong place.
This is a great app I know you can do this in photoshop, But its a lot of work. This really works, and a great price too. Thanks Orrail
The results are not flawless. Sometimes it repeats the wrong stuff. It would be nice to control what repeats. But that said, for a quick and dirty solution, the results are impressive. It reproduces the colour perfectly. Im very happy.
Very easy to use and although you wont need it often , it is great for when you do . Thank you.
Does what it says. Its not perfect but its an automated magic wand filler so you expect too much. I dont know why person(s) are comparing it to photoshop. CS5 is kinda on a different level. Duh.
This is so incredible!!! It even works with figures! Some pictures it makes it look kinda weird but overall this is a pretty awesome app. There should be an option to manually pick which parts to copy though.

Some bad moments

Dont bother. Terrible quality of picture. I wish I didnt purchase.
This appears to be the only app of its kind in the entire App Store! It is badly hobbled in the latest iOS and on the latest phones. I sure hope it can be repaired, and would gladly pay for a new version of it.
Import size changes every time cant select orginal resolution.... Very bad!!
by the description I was falsely led to believe that this would edit my pictures not just crop them. waste of money, not happy with this app
The "fill" is by no means seamless. I attempted to extend 5 different scenic pictures and saw noticeable edges between the original image and the fill, and much of the fill is copied and stamped (photoshop users will know what Im saying). I would save your money and skip this app.
Does not work. Choppy edges and is not what the sample shows. Would not recommend.
